Vitrafine Technology
The technology of vitrafine™ begins at the point of water granulation. The rapid cooling of the product produces a material that tends to separate vitrafine™ from the other components in the flow of slag.
A natural separation occurs because different minerals within the slag flow, solidify at different temperatures thus providing the capability of separation in the downstream screening process. The rapid cooling also produces a material more capable of being crushed without changing the size of the other components thus again allowing for a unique separation model.
